Faith (Vera/ru/) — in the original script, this is not a blind acceptance of dogmas, but “Radiant Wisdom.” This state is Knowing (knowledge) of the Primordial Light (Ra).
Etymology
The word consists of two runes/images:
- Ve (Vera): Knowing, knowledge, understanding.
- Ra: Primordial Light, Radiance, Pure Light (Ramha).
Thus, Faith is Enlightenment through Knowledge. It is a firm conviction based on the experience of ancestors and understanding of the laws of the Universe, which does not require proof, as it is an inner truth. Faith cannot be “accepted” or “changed” like a religion; it is a level of awareness that either exists or does not.
Faith or Belief?
These are not synonyms, but antonyms.
- Belief: Blind acceptance of someone else’s words without verification. This is the level of religion: “I was told that God is like this, and I believed.” Belief breeds fanaticism.
- Faith (Knowing): This is knowledge confirmed by personal experience. You do not “believe” that fire is hot — you know it, as you have experienced burning or warmth. True Faith always requires verification through practice.
The Path to Faith
Faith cannot be obtained through a book or a sermon. It comes through Awareness. When you begin to study the laws of nature, see the interconnections of events, feel the support of your Ancestors in response to right actions — your “belief” transforms into firm Knowledge (Faith). You stop doubting because you know how this world works.
